Feature · Forecast

How much you'll
actually close.

Raw pipeline totals always flatter you. Forecast weights every open deal by its stage probability and drops it into the month it's expected to close.

// why it matters

Raw totals lie.

A normal pipeline view adds every open deal at full value, so it overstates the month, every month. Forecast answers a different question: how much do we realistically land, and when. Same deals, weighted by the probability of the stage they're actually in.

01

// // weighted by stage, month by month

Weighted by stage, month by month.

Every open deal is placed in the month of its expected close date and multiplied by its stage probability. A 100 000 kr deal in Proposal at 50 % contributes 50 000 kr.

Questions, answered.

How is the weighted forecast calculated?
Cubitro takes every open deal, places it in the month of its expected close date, and multiplies its value by the win probability of its pipeline stage. A 100 000 kr deal in Proposal at 50 % contributes 50 000 kr to the forecast.
Can we set our own probabilities?
Yes. Each organisation sets its own win probability per pipeline stage under Settings → Pipeline, anywhere from 0 to 100 %. Defaults are New 10 %, Qualifying 25 %, Proposal 50 % and Negotiation 75 %. Won stages are locked at 100 % and lost stages at 0 %.
Who can change the probabilities?
Only an owner or a manager can change the win probability of a stage. Everyone else sees the forecast built on those numbers.
What happens to deals without an expected close date?
They can't be placed in a month, so they can't be forecast. Cubitro shows them as a separate warning so you can add the missing dates.
Can I see just my own forecast?
Yes. Say "my forecast" and you get only your own deals. Without "my", you get the whole organisation. The default horizon is six months ahead.
